Additions to the Arsenal #7

It's been a while and it's been a quiet couple of weeks here. I've just hadn't the time to take photos recently. It's been frankly a very busy time which has been taxing on so many levels and aspects which I'll address in a post sometime. But I've recently  acquired a few things yet again which I promise to review in time since I'll need to get writing more and more in my free time.

Additions to the Arsenal #6

It's sale season and I regret nothing, or so I tell myself. But I finally got my hands on a few things I've been eyeing on for less the label price.

Additions to the Arsenal #6

Looking back now, it seems that this has become somewhat of a monthly visitor kind of series post. I'm mildly to moderately ashamed of the fact that a good chunk of my salary goes to beauty bits, some well planned and some accidental.

Additions to the Arsenal #5

Just a few new things that have been in rotation lately. Mostly new eye makeup since it was suggested that I buy new eye makeup after LASIK to prevent bacterial contamination from my previous effects, I'm never one to turn down suggestions that lead me to retail therapy, pause, I say that with shame. But here are the few things I've picked up over the few weeks and days.

Additions to the Arsenal #4: A few bits from Manila

Hello there. Back from a bit of a blogging break since my eyes are still in the healing process from my LASIK procedure last week which meant a trip to the capital city, Manila. If there's one thing I like about Manila, it's the shopping basically. I love the vast selections of shops and restaurants so that also means I wasn't going to leave without a few little purchases here and there. And just brands that I don't come across in Davao.

Be prepared for how skin care centric this has become though.

Additions to the Arsenal #3: More Makeup

And another haul post. I'll have to admit that May has been quite a spendy month for me in the beauty department. I hide in shame. But I have the convoluted justifications to defend each purchase!

Additions to the Arsenal #2: Makeup and a Mask

A little collective haul from the past week to cheer myself up from my illness and the fact that I've missed a good week of work from this.

Additions to the Skincare Arsenal

This month a lot of things were running out. From Skincare to makeup. It was basically a diabolical shortage. So a bit of skincare shopping was in order.

Year Ending Purchases

On my Yearly favorites I wrote that I was on a makeup Zen, determined to finish every makeup product I owned. But as you can see people are greedy and don't stay content for long.

The Late Birthday Haul and Recent Purchases

Better late then never right?

Clearly this has been long overdue, and I have even posted reviews about some of the products posted on here, but I just love seeing collective haul posts.

My first purchases were bought on my birthday, three Happy Skin products, Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me Lip and Cheek Mousse in Swept Off my Feet & Warm and Toasty and the Happy Skin All Eyes On Hue Eyeshadow Palette

Then a long interlude until I bought the sunscreens I've been eyeing for quite a while at Watson's, the Sunplay SPF 70  mist and my current favorite sunscreen he Sunkiller Super lasting Base SPF 50.

Then a moment of weakness with the Etude House Beauty Shot Face Blur Cream and my first Beautymnl.com purchase with the VMV Hypoallergenics Re-everything cream, my current moisturizer.

And the long-awaited arrival of my Tartelette palette and the Lorac Alter Ego Cheek Palette and lipstick. I actually still have a very long wishlist. Especially that my favorite brands just keep churning out new products. It will be quite wallet-scarring. Especially when I have to bite my lip for every skin care product I think I need.  But I think I won't be buying as much in the future since I want to use up products so I can buy more!

January Wallet Damage

Ahhh the first month of the year, and it calls for new makeup. And I knew I had to finally cross off somethings on my long long makeup wish list. Like things I can buy in stores right here in town.

I love Happy Skin, proudly a Filipino brand, and I am all for local support, hahaha and the quality is no joke. Though a bit pricey, rest assured no expense was spared for the creation of their quirky products. Actually I have a few more things I want to get from them, but my wallet isn't so forgiving so I'll get them in the near future. And I love the Balm, so I think I'll also be taking a look at more things in their selection.

Happy Skin Feeling Sculptacular Face Contour Kit (P1299)

Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me in Under the Sheets (P549)

The Balm Instain Blush in Argyle (P895)

Expect reviews for these soon!

Etude House small Haul

So I went to Etude House yesterday with the intention of buying JUST ONE NAIL POLISH, but was swayed by the pretty pretty product placements and wound up getting three products instead.
