Canmake Marshmallow Finish Powder in Matte Ochre

I previously reviewed this in another lifetime when my blog was called A secret Beauty Geek. Time has passed and data deleted but here's a little reiteration and perhaps updated thoughts on this powder.

Canmake has been in the country for a while now but it's unfortunately only available in the capital with no means to be sold online. But they have great products like this one which has been winning awards in Japan. The Marshmallow finish powder with all its bells and whistles can actually deliver.

It comes in a golden plastic compact which is pretty adorable for me and it comes with a puff which I never use. The powder itself is a very fine, smooth and soft and you'd think it would apply like some cakey disaster and it might come a bit too light for your taste, I have this is Matte Ochre.

It comes through with its promise to counter unevenness in skin texture and tone. It recreates that Marshmallow soft texture with ease as it is brushed onto skin. It also seems to brighten up the complexion nicely but not in a pasty way, just in a lovely soft matte way which enhances skin.This is a good powder for oily skins but with consideration with skin tone, this suits fairer skins more. But I think deeper skin tones can use this as a brightening powder especially for under the eyes.

Overall this is a great product especially considering the fact that this is quite affordable, the quality is a thumbs up. It's a modest does what the name says kinda powder and is worth checking out.
