August Favorites

Already more than halfway through the year and a lot of fun new beauty discoveries through out. And this past month there has been quite a selection from all over the place but be assured that they have well earned their places.

There has been nothing on my lashes but the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara which gives my malnourished lashes good volume and length. It has just been key in my everyday look and frankly I wouldn't like to let it go.

And the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler, a legend, a classic. Basically the game changer of my lash game. Though the mascara may have been something own its own, this just brings the mascara's capabilities into the spotlight by just maintaining a perky curl throughout the day. I honestly don't know what I've been doing without this, might as well had not used an eyelash curler before getting this because that was how ineffective the previous ones were before this came to my life.

Another love, Pink Sugar Honey I'm Good Eyebrow Gel, has been the brow gel which has just been my option for non-crispy brows. The formula is smooth and less clumpy making it more manageable.

The Becca Backlight Priming Filter has been on my Sephora Wishlist since the beginning of time. But since I'm not so invested in it to drop a pretty penny since reviews have been mixed and not exactly favorable for Oily Skinned girls, I dipped my toe in the water and bought the trial size. So far so good but I'll need a full write up on this soon.

The Too Cool For School Art Class by Rodin has been that day time sculpting powder, something I'm extremely reliant on for when I know I want a subtle and softly defined face. With its fine powder formula and three shades it's easier to make a realistic sculpt.

And the Colourette Cosmetics Lipstick in Georgia has just been my mauvey pink lip staple this month as it has a pigment deep enough to pop out but is also subdued in a way.

I've known about the Skin Food Peach Sake Pore Powder for a few years now, but since Skin Food is like 3x the price here than in Korea, I've been holding out until an online seller would have it in its more justifiable price. And this has been proclaimed by a long time blogger I've been following, this is hands down the best loose powder for oil control.

I've been looking for a good calming toner since I ran out of my previous Rose Water toner and I happened to come across the V&M Naturals Rose and Aloe Toner online. I love the spritzer and scent and I have to say it has grown on me.
